In 2009 Brian started his digital art line with two series. The first was steampunk style naturalist studies from the files of The Society of Crypto-Entomology, a long defunct Victorian scientific society dedicated to the study of technological and mystic insects of unknown origin.
The Foglighter Fly 1845
The nocturnal Foglighter Fly was native to the back alley's and river fronts of London.

The Catseye Butterfly 1858
Discovered in a lion boneyard in Africa by Sir Richard Burton.

LockSmith Beetle 1791
The Locksmith Beetle was most often found living inside door locks and broken watches.

The DragoonFly 1815
Found on the battlefield of Waterloo, The Dragoonfly was thought to be a self directed weapon. It is unclear if it fought for the Prussian or French forces.

The Glass Butterfly of Notre-Dame Cathedral 1861
Found hiding among the panes of the famous rose window in Notre-Dame Cathedral.

The Battlefly Medic
The Battlefly Medic was found tending to the wounds of fallen soldiers in many conflicts from 1815 to 1865
